First look photos of the new Harry Potter series reveal actors Dominic McLaughlin and Nick Frost filming key scenes in London.

The actors playing Harry Potter and Hagrid in HBO’s new series were spotted filming for the first time in London on Monday. Dominic McLaughlin, 11, got into costume as the beloved titular wizard with a collared sweater, a coat, jeans and a backpack. Of course, the actor also sported Harry’s signature round glasses.

The upcoming show recently cast four of the Weasley children. On Tuesday, August 19, HBO revealed the four young actors who’ll be playing Ron Weasley’s (Alastair Stout) siblings: Tristan Harland as Fred, Gabriel Harland as George, Ruari Spooner as Percy, and Gracie Cochrane as Ginny Weasley.

HBO is making a new Harry Potter TV series, set to air in 2027. Filming is happening at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, UK, with new Weasley kids and main cast including Harry, Hermione, and Ron. Fans are excited as London shoot photos are trending online.
