Hurricane Erin is entering the first stages of a post-tropical transition as it continues to move away from the eastern coast of the United States.

The National Hurricane Center is tracking four systems in the Atlantic, including Hurricane Erin and newly designated Invest 90L.

The disturbance that was called Invest 90L formed into Tropical Storm Fernand. The other system we've been following, Invest 99L, is heading for the Caribbean islands. And Hurricane Andrew's hellacious attack on South Dade occurred in August 1992.

The National Hurricane Center is now tracking the newly formed Tropical Storm Fernand in the Atlantic, as well as another system.
