Right-wing influencer Jake Lang was chased away by counterdemonstrators while leading a small rally in Minneapolis amid tensions over the Trump administration’s sweeping Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations in the Twin Cities.

Jake Lang, an online right-wing influencer and one of more than 1,500 people pardoned by President Donald Trump after their criminal convictions related to the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, organized what he called an “anti-fraud” rally. At no point could Lang's voice be heard by the crowd.

But President Donald Trump has made the Somali community a special target of his deportation rhetoric after recent fraud cases in Minnesota in which a majority of defendants had Somali roots.
