Law enforcement officials say a shooter or shooters opened fire with multiple weapons at Taste of the City Lounge in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Crown Heights.

A man in New York City was pushed onto the train tracks at a Midtown subway station Saturday night, although he was not struck by a train, according to police.

The alleged gunman was identified as 27-year-old Shane Tamura, of Nevada. Police said the motive for the shooting remains under investigation. “This is a devastating day for our city,” Adams said.

There was an alarming outbreak of gun violence in New York City this weekend after a total of 10 people were shot in six separate shootings. The shootings, which police say were unrelated, all happened early Saturday night into early Sunday morning.
