The Baldwin Park woman who allegedly shot at employees of a California Closets Monday before being killed by police during a South Gate traffic stop was an employee of the Huntington Beach store.

A Redford Township woman was shot and injured early Tuesday on Interstate 96 in Detroit, Michigan State Police said. Dispatchers received a call at about 12:15 a.m. reporting there was a gunshot victim at a McDonald's restaurant on Grand River Avenue near I-96, according to authorities.

Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed at a shooting pit in Clackamas County on Sunday night. Szachary Tyler White, of Vancouver, was shot at a recreational target-shooting area south of Estacada, near Six Tie Road and Forest Service Road 4510, according to a statement from the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office.

A Taylor man is accused of a shooting Monday that left one of his siblings dead and injured another, police said. Officers were sent to the 9500 block of Cass Avenue around 4:38 p.m. on a report of family trouble, according to the city police department. GRAND RAPIDS, MI -- A Grand Rapids man shot by police for charging at them with a box cutter has been sentenced to more than 10 years in prison for two crimes. Nodin Chervenka, 20, was sentenced Monday, Aug. 18 on charges of felonious assault, torture and resisting and obstructing police.
