Howard, 32, earned four trips to the Pro Bowl and First Team All-Pro honors in his eight seasons with the Dolphins. But the veteran's tenure ended with a couple of underwhelming seasons, including his 2023 campaign that was cut short by a foot injury. The Dolphins released Howard in March 2024, saving $18.5 million in cap space in the process.

Four-time Pro Bowl cornerback Xavien Howard is signing with the Indianapolis Colts, his agent announced Monday. David Canter announced the news in a post to X. Howard, 32, did not play last season after he was released last year by the Miami Dolphins, the team for which he starred for during eight seasons.

The Dolphins’ strongest unit appears to be their edge defenders, but they’re looking into signing a four-time Pro Bowl pass rusher as they host him on a visit.
