Steelers long snapper Christian Kuntz suffered a chest injury in last week's preseason that is being reported as a broken sternum that should cost him several months.

Kuntz exited Saturday's preseason game against the Bucs with a chest injury and will not return, Burt Lauten of the team's official website reports. The Steelers' long snapper, Kuntz appeared in all 17 regular-season contests last season.
