Eberechi Eze will start for Crystal Palace in their Conference League play-off clash on Thursday, despite ongoing transfer talks with Tottenham. The Palace star was on show during Palace’s public training session earlier on Wednesday, and manager Oliver Glasner has confirmed Eze will start against Fredrikstad tomorrow night.

Tottenham Hotspur have stepped up their pursuit of Eberechi Eze by holding further talks geared towards signing the England forward. However, it is understood Crystal Palace want to line up a replacement before sanctioning his sale.

As per the Sky reporter, Eze threatened not to play for Palace in their 0-0 draw against Chelsea, but eventually rescinded this when Steve Parish personally gave the player assurances that his transfer wouldn't be delayed.
