Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank brought back a franchise legend when he decided to hire Matt Ryan as the team's new president of football, but the move does not have a 100 percent approval rate.

Fourteen seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, an NFL MVP, a place in the team's Ring of Honor and holding every passing record in franchise history just weren't enough for Matt Ryan. Now, the legendary Falcons quarterback has been named the first-ever president of football for the organization.

The legendary QB is expected to oversee the hiring of Atlanta's new coach and GM after Raheem Morris and Terry Fontenot were fired.

Stefanski found a kindred spirit as the two-time NFL Coach of the Year begins his second act. A big night in Atlanta,” Pelissero posted on the social media website X, formerly Twitter.
