CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WKRC) - A mother filed a lawsuit against a funeral home after her family attended her son's viewing only to find him "covered with and consumed by clumps of maggots," per the lawsuit.

The family of a woman who died after a battle with endometrial cancer says her body was mistakenly cremated before her scheduled viewing, leaving them demanding answers from Hutchinson Funeral Home.
