By Rajendra Jadhav MUMBAI, March 5 (Reuters) - The Middle East conflict has disrupted India's gems and jewellery exports, as well as imports of rough diamonds from the United Arab Emirates, because of widespread flight cancellations and airspace closures.

Though the US, Israel and Iran were the key players in the conflict, a rapid escalation of missile and drone attacks over the last week has embroiled several countries into the war.

Russia is ready to divert oil to ​India to offset Middle East supply disruptions, with about 9.5 million barrels of Russian crude in vessels near Indian waters and able ‌to arrive within weeks, an industry source with direct knowledge told Reuters.

India has ample crude oil and fuel in reserve for 25 days each, ensuring 50 days of overall sufficiency amidst global tensions.
