Silksong will be released on Sept. 4, according to a new trailer developer Team Cherry uploaded on Thursday. The almost two-minute video reveals some of the new enemies and bosses in the upcoming spinoff and ends with the surprise release date.

Silksong serves as the direct sequel to Hollow Knight and will take us into the adventure of the hunter Hornet, who also featured in the 2017 title as a major character.

One of the most highly anticipated sequels of all time, Silksong will introduce a variety of new mechanics and twists on systems from Hollow Knight.
