SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Bryan Blair has been officially introduced as the new Director of Athletics at Syracuse University. Blair has held the same position at the University of Toledo since 2022.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR) — Former Syracuse football quarterback Rex Culpepper has died at age 28. A cause of death has not been confirmed. Savanna Morgan, Culpepper’s fiancé, honored him in an Instagram post on Monday.

Major changes have been made within Syracuse University's leadership in the past couple of months.

Haynie has been at Syracuse University since 2006, and currently serves as vice chancellor for strategic initiatives and innovation.

Former Syracuse University quarterback Rex Culpepper, who who overcame cancer during his college career and "played football as fierce as he lived life," has died, the school said on Monday.
