Coco Gauff has has fired one of her coaches on the eve of the U.S. Open and brought aboard the serve doctor who helped No. 1-ranked Aryna Sabalenka work on her issues with that part of the game

Coco Gauff opened up on her decision to replace coach Matt Daly with Gavin MacMillan at the 2025 US Open media day.

After all, despite being viewed as one of the favourites to challenge for the women’s crown, she made the bold decision to part ways with her coach in favour of biomechanics expert Gavin MacMillan.
