President Donald Trump’s threat to take over Greenland is raising concerns about NATO unity after Trump's text to Norway’s prime minister citing his anger over not receiving the Nobel Peace Prize.

Sir Keir Starmer has said he does not think Donald Trump would use military force to seize Greenland as he warned that Britain would incur “huge damage” from a trade war with the US.

The most dangerous outcomes include the complete disintegration of the western alliance, including Nato.
