CARDIFF, Wales (AP) — Oasis ended a 16-year hiatus on Friday with a punchy, powerful trip through one of Britpop’s greatest songbooks, kicking off a reunion tour in Cardiff, Wales to a crowd ecstatic for the band’s 1990s hits.

But it was not only Lyla that fans felt was skipped from the line-up. The band also chose not to include the 2002 single Stop Crying Your Heart Out , the 2002 single which has gone on to become one of Oasis' biggest songs across the globe. Other tracks, such as Columbia and She's Electric, were also missing.

The show was the first of the Live ‘25 tour, which will run for 41 dates — 19 of which are in the U.K. and Ireland. The group will perform Saturday night (July 5) in Cardiff before heading to Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin; the tour will then run through North America, Asia and Australia and conclude in São Paolo, Brazil, on Nov. 23.
