New data from the Austin Police Department shows for the first six months of this year, APD has scarcely interacted with ICE.

Hundreds gathered in Houston's Magnolia Park neighborhood Wednesday to honor Lorenzo Salgado Araujo and demand answers after the Houston man's fatal shooting during an ICE enforcement operation. Protesters called for an independent investigation as a memorial continued to grow at the scene.

The protesters say they're calling for an immediate end to “ICE terror” in Rock County. They demand tax dollars be redirected toward housing, healthcare, education and other needs.
