In the top of the ninth, against feared Guardians closer Emmanuel Clase, Spencer Torkelson reached after being hit by a pitch. Pinch-runner Zach McKinstry stole second, advanced to third on a groundout and then dashed home on an unfathomable two-strike, two-out wild pitch by Clase.

The Guardians found another painful way to extend their season-high losing streak Sunday, falling 7-2 to the Detroit Tigers in 10 innings after a wild pitch from closer Emmanuel Clase allowed the tying run to score in the ninth.
