Netflix is revising its $72 billion offer for Warner Bros. Discovery to make it an all-cash transaction. Netflix initially put forth a cash and stock deal valued at $27.75 per Warner Bros. share, giving it a total enterprise value of $82.7 billion, including debt.

It is the latest skirmish in the bidding war over Warner Bros Discovery, which is also being pursued by Paramount Skydance.

Netflix will pay all cash for the $83 billion deal to acquire major parts of Warner Bros. Discovery, instead of a mix of cash and stock.

Marty, Life is Short, a documentary about comedian Martin Short, will premiere on Netflix in May. Directed by Lawrence Kasdan, the documentary includes never-before-seen archive footage as well as interviews with “some of the most established and beloved stars.” The film is set to debut on Netflix on May 12.

Lawrence Kasdan directed “Marty, Life Is Short,” described in a press release as the “definitive documentary” on Short. The film, which will include archival footage and new interviews with the influential funnyman and his famous friends, is set to debut on May 12.

The series, which premiered in late December, follows cast members Hilary Musser, Rosalyn Yellin, Maria Cozamanis, Ro-Mina Ustayev and Taja Abitbol as they navigate the social circles of Palm Beach, Florida, and its “unspoken rules, inherited traditions and high-stakes hierarchies.”
