Virginia Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears discussed why five schools in her state are at risk of losing federal funding due to transgender student policies on "Fox & Friends" Friday.

The Education Department is proceeding with efforts to suspend or terminate federal funding because five districts did not sign a proposed resolution by Aug. 15.

In marked contrast to many universities and hospitals, the districts aren’t bowing to anti-trans education policy.
