Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi is set to meet with India’s prime minister Narendra Modi as part of a two-day visit to Delhi, the latest sign of warming ties between the two Asian giants.

BEIJING (Reuters) -China and India should establish "correct strategic understanding" and regard each other as partners, not rivals, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said to his Indian counterpart on Monday, according to his ministry.

India and China should view each other as "partners" rather than "adversaries or threats", Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Monday, as he arrived for a two-day visit to Delhi.
