Parsons, the Cowboys’ 12th overall pick in 2021, has been seeking a new deal as he enters the final year of his rookie contract. The 2021 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year pubblicly requested a trade from the Cowboys on Aug. 1, citing a lack of communication from the club to negotiate a deal.
