Frustration for some is growing over warnings and evacuation orders given ahead of the storms that dumped water on the Guadalupe River, causing the devastating flash floods that slammed the Texas Hill Country.

Emergency responders continue to search for missing people and local police said efforts have been slowed by "sightseers who are making things worse."

More than 50 people have died and dozens of children are missing in Texas Hill Country after catastrophic flooding, leaving officials struggling to explain if they had done enough to warn people of the fast-rising waters.
