A Heat Advisory is in effect for the Interstate 5 corridor, including Seattle, from 11 a.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Tuesday. The alert is upgraded to an Excessive Heat Warning for the foothills and valleys of the Cascades, including Enumclaw and North Bend.

A Heat Advisory and Extreme Heat Warning is in effect for Western Washington through Tuesday morning. The warning now includes the Seattle and Tacoma metro areas with highs in the 90s this weekend.
The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory for most of Western Washington, as temperatures are soon likely to climb to the upper 90s around the Puget Sound region.
A heat advisory takes effect at 11 a.m. Friday for most of the region and will remain in place until 5 a.m. Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
