A woman who allegedly abandoned four house cats in a residence here was arrested last week at the Renaissance.

A chancery Judge denied the city of Madison’s request to lift the stay on the 4.6 square mile annexed portion of Madison County that is currently under appeal by the city of Gluckstadt.

The residents of Flora’s Ward 4 elected Ashley Brown Tucker by a wide margin to serve as their representative in Tuesday’s special election.
