We recently lost one of our own. After a long battle with breast cancer, Officer Lisa Whitmore was called home on March 24th, 2019. She was 49 years old. She served with the Anchorage Police Department for 16 years as a Patrol, Warrants, and Domestic Violence Officer. A large portion of her career was dedicated to combatting domestic violence in our community.
