Big news for Moreton Bay’s wildlife! 🐨🦘 A dedicated wildlife hospital and education hub will soon be built right here in City of Moreton Bay with $15 million in funding confirmed for the project by the State Government at today’s Leaders’ Forum. The new facility will mean injured animals like koalas, wallabies and sugar gliders can be treated locally rather than being driven up to two hours just for care. We were invited by Seachange Boating to take the SCBX-16T out for a play.. The conditions were perfect so we headed to Moreton Island to check out the Tangalooma wrecks and then down to the Little Sandhills to look for wildlife.. The boat was awesome to drive and handled well, it was steady at rest and it was low level flying when flat chat and motor trimmed out.. Plenty of room and a no fuss layout made everything simple.
