Blunt trauma crushed Reyna's leg - We aren't sure how Reyna's leg was crushed but she is only 9 months old and has already been through a lot. She came into HSSA as a stray and she wasn't bearing any weight on her rear leg. After examination we saw that her fractured leg had not been cared for and was causing her immense pain. HSSA's Shelter Medical Team amputated Reyna's leg a couple days before Thanksgiving and she is healing very well, taking antibiotics and receiving passionate care from HSS
