On September 30, 2025, an Embraer 190 (HI1074) aircraft operated by Sky High Airlines experienced a landing gear malfunction during landing at Las Américas International Airport (SDQ) in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The aircraft touched down with its nose landing gear retracted, causing the nose to drag on the runway. The plane departed from runway 17 at Las Américas earlier that day for a test flight along the northern coast of the Dominican Republic before returning to the same airport.
