It’s feeding time for the sand tiger sharks! Like all sharks, they are carnivores and eat a diet of mainly fish and crustaceans. At the aquarium we feed our sand tiger sharks squid, capelin, and herring (shown in video). With a mouthful of sharp teeth and large size, sand tiger sharks may look ferocious but are relatively docile and aren’t considered aggressive to humans.
