Join us in celebrating Nettie the giraffe, as she enjoys her sweet 16! 🎂She is not only a friendly face in the Preserve Pasture, but a big contributor to the conservation of her species. Nettie was born at Fossil Rim in 2010, and over the years has raised seven calves of her own. Most of these babies have since grown and moved on to other facilities, where Nettie's genetics can be used to produce more healthy giraffes in the future! | Fossil Rim Wildlife Center
