The Barbados Labour (BLP) is celebrating its 86th Anniversary with a Founders’ Day service this morning. A CBC team was there as members arrived at the James Street Methodist Church in James Street, Bridgetown. Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley, is among those addressing the congregation. Barbados Labour Party candidate for St James South, Sandra Husbands, and her team, wasted little time after the announcement of a date for General Elections. Campaign posters were posted on the palm trees along West Terrace, a tangible sign that Barbadians will be heading to the polls on February 11.
