How did you do that?! This biscuit machine (@lamello_usa Zeta P2) chatters up and down at the end to create a unique biscuit cutout. This prevents the biscuit from coming out and helps with clamping pressure. A normal biscuit serves one purpose; it keeps two objects in plane. This biscuit does that, but also pulls them together. Welcome to part 8 of my screen porch build! Wrapping the 6x6 pressure treated posts with a 1/2” PVC wrap. These wraps come in predetermined lengths with four sides that are mitered and keyed. Before installing you lay a one part PVC glue in the miter so when they are installed there is a strong uniform bond at the seams. Once in place, I use cortex screws to lock them in. You can notch these wraps however you like! I even did the king posts with a wrap as well. The four panels are held together
